Attractive, idealistic, naive, profoundly ignorant of the system she criticizes, prone to demonstrating her ignorance in interviews, and guaranteed to engender rabid, irrational, and undeserved hatred from the right and adoration from the left no matter what she actually does, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is the Democrat Sarah Palin. And just like Sarah, she’s good for business in both parties, filling campaign coffers on the right and the left alike.

Ms. Ocasio-Cortez is going to be very busy over the next two years. A young, energetic rising star in the progressive wing of the Democratic party with stage presence and sympathetic charisma she will be a mainstay at fundraisers and rallies.
